Link, the hero of Hyrule, has always been a quiet and humble person. He grew up in the Kokiri Forest, where he was raised by the Great Deku Tree. As a child, he was taught the ways of the forest and the importance of protecting it. When he was old enough, he set out on a quest to save Princess Zelda and the kingdom of Hyrule from the evil sorcerer, Ganondorf.
